Job Summary:
Wright County Community Action has partnered with Creekside Manor Apartments to provide a tenant services coordinator. This position will provide resources and assistance to the residents of Creekside Manor. These services are designed to enhance their ability to maintain independent living and reduce social isolation.
Education and Experience
•High school diploma or general education (GED) preferred
•At least one year working with older adults.
Required Skills and Abilities
•Ability to maintain confidentiality by keeping personal information private and secure.
•Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
•Possess strong time management, organization, communication, and critical thinking skills.
•Ability to work independently.
•Ability to collaborate with Apartment Management/owners to effectively meet the needs of tenants.
•Attention to detail including accurate data entry skills to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
•Excellent customer service skills.
•Able to use general office equipment such as copier, fax, and scanner.
•Able to use a computer and utilize software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook daily.
•Able to connect and build rapport with older adults and their families.
•Capacity to work a flexible schedule as needed.
•Must have access to reliable transportation.
•Bilingual language skills Preferred.
•Satisfactorily pass a MN DHS Background Study
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Serve as Tenant Service Coordinator at Creekside Manor in Buffalo: (Approximately 20 hours/week)
•Conduct initial needs assessments and develop self-sufficiency plans in collaboration with the residents.
•Assist residents in developing skills and accessing resources needed to meet the goals in their self-sufficiency plan. (i.e. independent living skills, safety, harm reduction strategies, financial management, health, transportation, WCCA programs, mental health, chemical health, etc.)
•Evaluate and update the self-sufficiency plan as needed.
•Assist residents to understand their rights and responsibilities under the tenant lease.
•Provide crisis intervention as needed.
•Correctly and efficiently enter data into tracking system, review for accuracy, and purge files to eliminate duplication.
•Coordinate opportunities for social activities for the residents.
•Assist older adults with filling out applications.
•Provide available resources to the county.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
