The OnBase Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and technical support of OnBase. This includes configurations, upgrades, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. In this role you will be the primary point of contact for all OnBase related technical needs; often collaborating with various departments to implemented new features and optimize business processes. This includes architecting solutions driven by new projects, designing seamless user experiences, implementing environment changes, and ensuring processes are in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Platform Administration (70%):
- Leads the administration and maintenance activities for the OnBase platform which
- Collaborates with infrastructure providers to determine requirements for the deployment of database, web, and application servers in a multi-instance environment.
- Specifies and verifies the architecture necessary for OnBase integration with other application systems.
- Maintaining all mapping documents for each document group & document type within the system. This includes updating as document groups and/or types are added, changed, or removed.
- Ensuring all retention timeframes are met.
- Project Support (25%)
- Translate business requirements into functional, technical, security, and training requirements for internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Participate in documenting processes, as well as document the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’
- Building and maintaining the end-to-end application flows, disclosures, and document mapping
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of end-user guides, support material, and documentation of processes and procedures in support of assigned projects.
- Attends project meetings with the Lines of Business impacted by a particular project.
- Serves as a resource to our learning and development and knowledge management teams to assist with training or reference materials.
- Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. Performs other duties as required. (5%)
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2 years experience with OnBase
- Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of OnBase administration tasks including security, roles, users, managing errors and installation.
- Administrator Professional certification from Hyland for OnBase. OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator certification is a plus.
- Ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of OnBase administration tasks including security, roles, users, managing errors and installation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on multiple efforts at the same time and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent communicate skills and proven ability to interact with end-users and vendors.
