We're seeking a strategic events manager to join our growing team at Writer. This role will be a key member of the strategic events team, focusing on the tactical execution and support of our global AI Leaders Forum series, tentpole events and major activations at industry conferences. The ideal candidate will have a bias for action, a strategic mindset and the ability to manage a portfolio of events with executive and C-level involvement and visibility.

📐 About This Role
We're seeking a strategic events manager to join our growing team at Writer. This role will be a key member of the strategic events team, focusing on the tactical execution and support of our global AI Leaders Forum series, tentpole events and major activations at industry conferences. The ideal candidate will have a bias for action, a strategic mindset and the ability to manage a portfolio of events with executive and C-level involvement and visibility.
🦸🏻♀️ Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the tactical planning, coordination and execution of a wide range of events and experiences
- Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management and timeline development
- Ensure all deliverables are on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Manage event budgets, track expenses and ensure financial goals while identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing event spending
- Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success and gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders
- Work closely with the strategic events team to support the overall event strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to ensure events support GTM initiatives
- 4 years of experience in event management, with a focus on tactical execution of strategic and high-visibility, high-profile events
- Proven track record of managing events with executive and C-level involvement
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
