The position is responsible for leading all financial planning and analysis activities for Operations and Customer Service (“Service Excellence”) functions across WS Audiology, US Wholesale, which has impact across all US businesses for WSA. This includes working in close partnership with Service Excellence leaders to drive continuous improvements to WSA’s cost to serve. The role is a key partner for the VP of Service Excellence and will report directly to VP of Finance, US Wholesale.

The role is a key partner for the VP of Service Excellence and will report directly to VP of Finance, US Wholesale.
Essential Responsibilities
- Project, analyze, and report Cost of Goods Sold, including material cost, labor freight, and overhead expenses
- Identify root cause of variances vs budget and forecast for monthly reporting to senior management
- Form part of core team for the COGS saving program and proactively provide ongoing financial sparring, direction and validation when identifying new savings initiatives
- Establish and maintain tracking of monthly savings from cost saving initiatives
- Provide information needed for journal entries for accruals required for month end close
- Drive development and modus of monthly operations review together with VP Service Excellence
- Manage, analyze, integrate, and interpret large, complex, and disparate data sets to produce reports and analyses that capture insights into business performance for executives and managers as requested
- Drive transition for overall reporting transparency on operational and financial KPIs related to operations and customer service, from ad hoc and infrequent data reporting to consistent, robust and actionable insights
- Contribute to creating a joint finance leadership team for US Wholesale by contributing actively to the team’s priorities and constantly challenging status quo
- BS/BA Business Administration (required)
- MBA and/or CPA (Preferred)
- Minimum of 4-5 years progressive experience in financial accounting or finance business partnering. Preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience with FP&A and finance business partnering
- Experience from manufacturing and distribution company
- Demonstrates leadership abilities and proactive mindset that does not accept status quo, but drives processes to finalization
- Showcases ability to solve and communicate complex problems in a structured manner to all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills
