What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Onboarding Manager position at WSI Standard?
The Customer Onboarding Manager will be responsible for integrating new customers into our organization through creating and executing effective onboarding processes from the point of customer agreement through 90 days after onboarding to ensure a positive customer experience. This full-time salaried position will report to the Sr Customer Onboarding Manager.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Oversees our customer onboarding program, including all associated processes, metrics, and documentation.
- Generates customer onboarding project plans and provides project management support.
- Secures Customer Service, Operations, Information Technology, and Sales resources to meet customer needs.
- Drives continuous improvement of onboarding, with a goal of increasing service, quality, and speed.
- Develop and leverage understanding of how processes and information flow across multiple systems.
- Analyzes financial and productivity/efficiency data to manage internal project expenses.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Detail oriented, a self-starter and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and focus on multiple simultaneous tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal WSI departments.
- Understanding of warehouse systems, processes and data integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the customer lifecycle process for scalable solutions to increase productivity and profitability.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business Management preferred.
- 3 years of experience in project management, warehouse management, customer service, or a similar role.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Work remotely and/or out of the WSI home office location.
- Comfortable periodically working in a warehouse and interacting with Operations site team members.
- Periodic travel (10%-20% dependent on home location) will be needed to assist facilities during onboarding process.
- Ability to sit for extended periods within an office environment.
- Ability to use hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, and answer phone calls.
- Ability to communicate via the telephone using speaking and hearing skills.
