Assistant Vice President, Project Controls

This OpportunityWSP is looking for an Assistant Vice President, Project Controls, to join our Project Controls team in New York City. This will be a Scheduling focused position.Your ImpactDuties and Responsibilities : Providing and / or overseeing critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) to support client’s Program including design and construction rail transit and energy projects.Responsible for Developing, updating and analyzing detailed execution schedules for simultaneous projectsEstablish baseline schedule : summary and detailed review of baseline durations, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, resource histograms.Review periodic CPM Updates, provide Primavera schedule comparison reports and detailed reviews.Assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management.Coordination with project teams to assess reporting and identify risk or potential delays and create accurate forecasts.Perform Earned Value analysis reports.Schedule Change Management. Review of change orders.Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays.Provide recommendations for schedule recovery. Recovery schedule reviews and perform what-if scenario analysis.Who You AreMinimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.10 years of experience in developing and managing project Schedules.5 years Rail field construction experience requiredExperienced with critical path method analysis / technique with Primavera.Project financial forecasting skills.Change Order and Extension of Time analysis.Experience working with cross-functional teams.Experience working within large and challenging Client Programs with one or more project teams.Effective reporting and communication skills.Experience in preparing project reports and documentation.Building Construction and or project management experienceTeam player and Strong communication skillsCompensation and Benefits : WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.Expected Salary : 133,400-198,200WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and / or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
