WSP USA, Inc. has a career opportunity for a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to join our Phoenix, AZ team to support construction materials testing for mining, transportation and other construction related projects.

• Will perform asphalt, soil, aggregate, concrete, and material testing primarily
• Operate construction materials laboratory testing equipment
• Perform analysis and/or calculations to check accuracy of test data
• Data input for report preparation and submittal to clients
• Perform equipment calibrations as needed
• Perform maintenance on equipment as needed
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of construction material lab experience
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to read & interpret specifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds - Will routinely lift and carry materials and equipment
- Must pass background check
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel
At least one of the following certifications
• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician-Level 1
• ACI Strength Testing Technician
• ATTI Asphalt Testing Technician or equivalent
• ATTI Soils and Aggregate Testing Technician or equivalent
