The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a corporate accounting department with a strong understanding of accounting operations, accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.

Job Title: Corporate Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our central accounting team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a corporate accounting department with a strong understanding of accounting operations, accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and support for all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple offices to gather financial data needed for general ledger entries, intercompany transactions, and multi-entity consolidated reporting.
- Review and analyze financial reports, identifying variances, and areas for improvement.
- Help develop and improve the financial close process.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experiences in corporate accounting or a similar role
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar platforms).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, financial modeling, etc.)
- Experience with Sage Intaact, Quickbooks, Thompson Reuters, CCH is highly desirable
- Experience with professional services (accounting, legal, marketing, consultants, etc.)
