POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Ecommerce Merchandising Manager is responsible for the overall digital product lifecycle as well as driving the operation and optimization of the digital shopping experience. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance online customer experience, optimize product visibility, and drive conversion and sales growth by executing key merchandising initiatives and strategies. This role will play an impactful role in supporting site enhancements, implementing digital content, SEO, and product copy. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a blend of creative, strategic, and analytical capabilities, capable of managing digital campaigns across various channels and ensuring high-quality content across platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Site / Product Merchandising:
- Own the development of site merchandising strategies and their day-to-day execution, across the entire lifecycle of product from go-live to deactivation.
- Manage the merchandising calendar to accurately schedule website content and organize support for digital marketing efforts.
- Support product categorization, navigation and content (copy, imagery) process to ensure accurate go-live and management of products on digital platforms; perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy of product data and promotional content on a daily basis, as well as taking responsibility for correcting and facilitating any fixes.
- Track changes in product assortment and ensure changes are reflected during site preparations.
- Manage promotions end-to-end: including product, shop set-up, code management, and promotional assortment.
Merchandise / Site Performance, Reporting and Analytics:
- Monitor and analyze product category, style, and brand performance to identify areas opportunity for growth and achieve business requirements (margin rate, conversion, etc.)
- Utilize data-driven analysis, establish KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional partners to inform decision-making processes and performance reporting.
- Provide weekly/daily reporting on assortment WoW, YoY / Top sellers / etc.
Site / Customer Shopping Experience Optimization:
- Identify and execute upon opportunities for optimization of site search, product data, product sorting, filters/facets, product recommendations, up-sells/cross-sells, product taxonomy, and content strategies.
- Manage BazaarVoice ratings & review tool to increase conversion on the PDP
- Support an SEO strategy to increase organic search traffic and work with cross-functional partners to execute.
- Proactively escalate any website issues and assist in logging/scoping out solutions.
Initiative / Project Management:
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, solutions and strategies for web merchandising, ecommerce operations, and SEO
- Prioritize implementing strategies and projects to maximize business performance and accelerate sales growth on the site
Cross-Functional Support:
- Work closely and cross-functionally with digital, merchandise and marketing teams, ensuring the successful coordination and launch of new and refreshed products and merchandising initiatives (Shopify, App).
- Work with the Digital Marketing team to improve the customers’ shopping and post-purchase experience on the site.
- Provide administrative support for the E-Commerce team as needed.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of hands-on experience in site and product management and merchandising.
Comprehensive understanding of digital infrastructure, tracking, and reporting methods for display and digital content, including asset specs and site performance dependencies.
Advanced computer skills with proven experience in Excel.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
Strategic mindset a must

This is a full-time position, 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote.
