Afternoon Teacher Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work afternoons in our Early Learning Center. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Must have reliable transportation. Perfect position for a college student to work around classes.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
• Support children in their daily routines, including math activities, group discussions, and individual learning tasks.
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages communication and social interaction among students.
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom setting conducive to learning.
• Engage with parents and caregivers to discuss their child's day.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to childhood education.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to work with children with patience and understanding.
• A genuine love for working with young children is crucial for success in this role.
