What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radio Station Manager/Ownershiip position at WTSA Radio?
Here is a wonderful opportunity for the right person! We have a 2-station cluster (FM and FM/AM) in a beautiful Southern Vermont community which needs a General Manager. Our community involvement, local formats, on-site team and facility are all terrific! This is a locally owned and operated company where you can settle down AND settle in for the long haul….NO corporate games played! Our preferred candidate will have sales experience and be able to manage existing local accounts along with opening new business. The General Manager will also oversee several other aspects of the station along with the current owner…working as a team. That owner will be turning the station over to the GM in a couple of years which means equity will be earned and, eventually, the ownership of the cluster to the GM. The person we are seeking must have Radio Management and on-the-street sales experience. This position will offer an above-average salary plus commissions, monthly bonuses, trade opportunities and a nice benefit package. This is not an office position, and you will be expected to manage and create a substantial amount of the revenue while getting involved in the community.
