The Opportunity
From day one, you will be assigned your own responsibilities, giving you exposure to client assignments and enabling you to build up valuable experience and skills. You will have opportunities to gain exposure to different aspects of our business and will be able to gain a solid understanding of what we do and how we do it.
As Billing Assistant your key responsibility will be to record and monitor financial flows (premiums and/or claims) in accordance with management's directives for a portfolio of clients or products.
You’ll be working on real client projects performing the following tasks:
- Communicating (oral and written) with clients and companies on all accounting issues related to the contract
- Setting up accounting and financial flows when setting up new contracts, by providing the necessary data (contract input, contributors, commissions, etc.)
- Generating premium issuance and/or claims billing (contract input)
- Handling (unpaid) premiums or claim reminders
- Managing the inventory of the client or product portfolio for which they are responsible
- Handling unallocated funds (identification and allocation)
- Handling calls for funds
- Following up with clients within the framework of the Group's working capital processes
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Advanced Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
- Knowledge of the basics of insurance contracts is an advantage
