About the role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural estimating with some pipe experience preferred. This role requires a minimum of four years of experience in a similar estimating position, along with project management experience.
Roles/Tasks of the Position:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel projects, including materials, labor and equipment.
- Collaborate with the sales team, operations and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Utilize AutoCAD to review and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals and project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members and suppliers to clarify project requirements and resolve any issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Abilities:
- Proven project management experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4 years of experience in a similar estimating role
- 1 years of experience with AutoCAD
Prerequisites/Requirements:
- Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
- Valid Driver's License and Proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Background check.
