About the Role
A thriving, privately owned small animal hospital in Huntersville, NC is seeking a compassionate General Practice Veterinarian to join their team. As a GP Veterinarian, you will provide exceptional medical care to companion animals while building long-term relationships with pet owners. Our hospital is equipped with modern diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house lab, and surgical suites to support high-level patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough wellness exams, diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
- Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures (spay/neuter, soft tissue, dental, etc.).
- Prescribe and administer medications, perform diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
- Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and behavioral health.
- Collaborate with the hospital team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in North Carolina.
- Experience in general practice, urgent care, or surgery is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passionate about high-quality patient care and client education.
