Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and committed HSE Specialist to implement and oversee health, safety, and environmental programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with experience in risk management and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
Main responsibilities and functions:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees.
- Conduct risk assessments, internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate and deliver training on occupational safety and hygiene, personal protective equipment use, and hazardous materials handling.
- Oversee waste management practices and the implementation of environmental control measures.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all safety incidents and HSE activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of HSE regulations, both national and international.
- HSE certifications such as OSHA, ISO 14001, or similar (preferred).
- Strong communication skills, leadership, and project management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and results orientation.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Safety and Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
