What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Development Assistant position at Wushu Central Martial Arts Academy?
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for working with kids and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the world!
No experience necessary! If you've never learned martial arts, that's OK! We will teach you the skills and our teaching methodology to turn you into an amazing martial arts instructor. To succeed you will need to be:
1. Willing to Learn. Come with an open mind, ready to be pushed to excel!
2. Physically fit. This is an active job teaching martial arts to children!
3. Engaging and expressive. Part of being great with kids is being fun to be around!
This is What It’s Like to Work Here:
Day 1: You are a Leader in Training learning our unique martial arts coaching system. You are being educated on childhood development and teaching skills. You help manage students and assist instructors in providing amazing classes.
Day 30: You continue learning how to teach martial arts and are getting the hang of it. You are getting better at connecting with kids and maintaining class discipline. You start taking responsibility for small groups of students.
Day 60: You are improving as an instructor and are also learning how to sell memberships. You are feeling comfortable teaching and have built rapport with both kids and their parents. Students look up to you and are excited to be in your class.
Day 90 : You are feeling the confidence that comes with teaching martial arts. You have learned the Wushu Central curriculum and have become a martial arts Instructor!
Requirements:
- You must be capable of thriving in a highly disciplined and structured environment
- You must be driven to learn and grow constantly, living outside your comfort zone
- You must be motivated to enroll new students
- You must be an excellent communicator
- You must be in great physical condition
Work Hours:
- Thu 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Fri 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- Sat 8:45 am - 12:15 pm
- Sun 10:25 am - 4:15 pm
