Do you love number crunching, creating spreadsheets, tracking and processing invoices? If so, come join the team here at the West Virginia Clearance Access Registry Employment Screening (WV CARES) Program.
Under general supervision of the Program Director of the WV CARES Program, this position creates, and reviews accounts, generates and tracks invoices, and processes payments upon receipt. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a tracking system to maintain accurate account of records to prevent delinquent accounts. The incumbent will track, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy of amounts, and prepare for deposit. This position will contact providers with delinquent accounts to seek payment and up to date accounts. Budget maintenance, purchasing of office supplies, etc. and other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least 24 semester hours in accounting.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in professional accounting, statutory accounting or auditing work.
Substitutions: Master's degree in accounting may substitute for the required experience. Certification of registration as a Public Accountant in West Virginia may be substituted for the training and required experience.

Pay: $41,194.00 - $71,789.00 per year
