Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Interviewer to join our team under the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Program. Reporting directly to the BRFSS Program Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our data collection process. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead interviewer and provide backup support to the BRFSS Program Manager.
- Monitor telephone interviewers to ensure data quality aligns with CDC guidelines.
- Create and manage monthly schedules for a team of approximately 20 employees.
- Set up call records twice daily in compliance with CDC protocols.
- Generate productivity reports to ensure staff are meeting call quotas and program goals.
- Assist with interviewer training and provide guidance as a resource for team members.
- Conduct telephone interviews to collect health-related data directly from participants.
- Provide performance feedback to the Program Manager regarding interviewers.
Schedule:
This role requires availability for some evening and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, OR Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
AND
- Two (2) years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment, OR Postgraduate education in a field related to the area of employment may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one (1) year of experience.
OR
Master's degree in social work from a regionally accredited social work program from a regionally accredited college or university.
