The FOH Service Manager works closely with the General Manager, Beverage Managers, and ownership to maintain the restaurant's standards of excellence across our culinary, beverage and service programs. The Manager must possess strong leadership skills in and outside of service, a willingness to collaborate with all team members, and the ability to prioritize and multitask. They must exude genuine warmth and empathy both in dealing with our team and our guests, and a willingness to continuously educate the service team. Daily and weekly responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently work to foster and maintain a culture of confidence, generosity and empathy by supporting the GM and ownership in providing a safe, clean and adequately equipped workplace, and ongoing education and coaching.
- Lead all team members in offering genuine, informed, and intuitive hospitality experiences.
- Collaborate with all managers and service team members to genuinely engage guests to deliver unique and memorable dining experiences.
- Assist GM in preparing daily service notes and floor plans.
- Assist GM in performing monthly inventories of service wares.
- Assist GM in maintaining website and delivery app accuracy.
The following are requirements to be considered for the position:
- 2 years leadership experience in similar environment
- Proficient understanding of restaurant systems and operations
- Proficiency with various tools, including Resy, Toast (POS), Bentobox (website), Sling (scheduling), ADP (payroll) and various third party delivery apps
- Foundation in NY State and Federal HR standards and practices
- Annual salary ranging between $75k and $95k, based on experience
