What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Account Manager position at WWEX Group?
PURPOSE
The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for the retention and growth of a the largest and / or most strategic accounts (non-Agent) in the GlobalTranz portfolio. The Enterprise Account Manager’s goal is to position GTZ commercially as a leading 3PL provider to their assigned portfolio of accounts. They will be strategically aligned with the Enterprise Account Director to develop and leverage growth opportunities, best practices, new capabilities, and relationships to accelerate growth. This individual will drive growth through internal partnerships, external relationship management, self-education, strategic analysis, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership : Be a critical member of the TL Org team to grow and retain business while exploring new growth opportunities and capabilities
Growth : Develop and implement customer-level strategies with a focus on customer satisfaction and positive margins
Profitability : Work with others as needed to negotiate customer terms that best positions the company for maximum profitability
Relationship Management : Develop and grow strategic relationships within customers
Expertise : Develop strategic capabilities, pricing intelligence and superior logisticians skills. Pursue ongoing education of logistics. Stay current with industry related news. Possess advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology.
Collaboration : Collaborate internally with Customer Success and Carrier Procurement Teams to ensure alignment with organization and customer goals and objectives.
Work collaboratively with Customer Success and Carrier Procurement departments
Meet or exceed sales and margin budget goals and market plans
Control revenue by maximizing profits through pricing strategies, margin control, and mitigating customer loss
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Preferred 3 years successful business development and / or relationship management experience in transportation & logistics
Possess the highest of integrity with a proven history of success in customer success, sales and / or sales management.
Superior communication, collaboration, organization, prioritization, negotiation, business and technical writing skills
Have professional presence, passion, tenacity and a high business acumen
Excellent Interpersonal Skills : Ability to work professionally and effectively with a diverse group of individuals, internally and externally
Fluent Technology Skills (Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, PC, email, internet) : Use computer to enter access or retrieve data, and navigate through multiple systems with proficiency. Ability to learn new technology easily.
Strong business and financial acumen
Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team setting and thrive in a fast paced, agile environment
Dependability : Being part of the Globaltranz team requires being reliable, responsible and fulfilling obligations
Ability to work outside of standard business hours when needed
Ability to lead team members and adjust to customer and carrier needs
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of successful transportation experience.
