This Chief Data Scientist role is not like that.
We are a tech company in the delivery space, trying to completely disrupt it by dramatically lowering the cost of fulfilment by 30%. Those costs can then be passed onto the Customer.
We aim to ensure that delivery drivers are close to 100% utilization, as currently, delivery drivers on average spend a quarter of their day on dead time.
Building sophisticated Routing & Pricing optimization algorithms is key to this. Make no mistake though, this is a race. A number of competitors are trying to do the same.
You’ll be tasked with leading & building a team to work on this. If successful, it is likely the company, already established with hundreds of millions in turnover, will be able to capture huge market share as a fulfilment software provider to this global $500 billion dollar market.
