What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beach Club Restaurant Host position at Wychmere Beach Club?
Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire a seasonal restaurant host to work in our Bach Club dining outlets. Our private Beach Club that is open from mid-June through September. The Restaurant Host is responsible for providing members and guests with friendly and outstanding service at all of our water-front outlets. The ideal candidate will be a people-centric person with a positive, friendly attitude and who possesses the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Schedule:
- ·Day and Evening Shift Availability
- Weekend availability required
- Start Date: June 8th - Earliest End Date: August 31ast
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
· 1 year customer service experience preferred
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Highly responsible and reliable
· Require ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Ability to work in an outdoor environment with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees
Core Duties:
This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide information and answer questions graciously and courteously to ensure that members/guests receive a high level of customer service
· Greet guests and show them to tables in accordance with each dining outlet's seating policy
· Attend pre-shift meetings for updates and specials for the day/evening/week
· Possess knowledge of restaurant menus and be able to answer questions from members/guests
· Perform others duties and side work as assigned by Director of Restaurants and Restaurant Manager

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
