What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handling/Conveyor Technician position at WyCo Services?
We are seeking a Material Handling/Conveyor Technician with some electrical experience (high voltage, low voltage) and knowledge of code to join our team. Must have experience with conveyor and material handling systems in an Industrial work environment. An understanding of schematics, PLC's, VFD's a plus. Must have excellent communication skills and able to create positive relationships with customers.
## Duties
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints as needed
- Preventive Maintenance duties required.
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes; must comply with all safety requirements, and follow policy and procedures.
-Work Monday thru Fridays mostly during the day or as needed based on customer equipment availability; must be flexible to cover call-outs or project work.
## Experience
### Required Skills:
- Experience working in an industrial/commercial setting with conveyors/material handling systems.
-Ability to meet employment requirements (MVR, background and drug screening) and operate a company vehicle to travel to customer locations within a 100 /- mile radius of Salt Lake City, Utah.
-Service mind-set; jobs are either scheduled maintenance or unplanned emergencies with the need to be responsive to the customer.
-Strong communication and customer service skills.
-OSHA training
