Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is looking for a passionate Director of Emergency Services for a full-service restoration company located in New Haven, CT.
Director of Emergency Services Compensation and Benefits :

They are seeking a candidate who can create new prospects and clients, provide an exceptional client experience, ability to show compassion, while building new relationships with organizations to help them achieve their next stage of growth. The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for working directly with the Ercolano Cleaning and Restoration Leadership team to accomplish all short-term and long-term goals assigned to the Emergency Services Department with clear and consistent communication, strong attention to details and persistent follow up.
Director of Emergency Services Responsibilities :
Networking / visiting fire departmentsWork alongside the leadership team to develop and accomplish vision for the departmentCreate all processes and procedures to meet department goalsDevelop detailed training and continuing education process that supports onboarding of new hires and long-term development of technicians and leadership within the departmentDesign an action plan to successfully create new business and build client relationshipsResponsible for achieving company sales targetsMaintain a professional, ethical, and positive disposition as a primary representative of the company in the community.Maximize efficiency of mitigation, demolition, drying and documentation processes to meet or exceed industry standardsManage distribution and create accountability around maintaining vehicles and equipment in conditions for peak performanceRegularly attend client meetings, trade shows, networking events, conferences, etc.Integrate sales efforts with other organized marketing activities (promotions, advertising, exhibitions, telemarketing, social media marketing, etc.Responsible for on-going prospecting and warm-calling potential clients within targeted areasCommunicate with adjusters, homeowners, and trade partnersCall and follow-up with the client after every job and ensure client satisfactionEnter and track customer interactions in software systemProvide exceptional product knowledge and outstanding customer service to develop lifetime customers in a local marketCommunicate a positive image of the company to the entire staff and customerAttend weekly sales meetingsDirector of Emergency Services Requirements :
Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Fire Marshall, etc.Excellent computer skills, including internet knowledge and working proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applicationsIndustry knowledge or the ability to seek knowledge if new to the industryProven, successful sales track recordAbility to maintain a quality and service oriented attitudeMust be a self-starter and able to take initiativeAble to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demandsProven ability in creating new business and client relationships is a mustExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skillsKeywords : fire fighter, business development, disaster restoration
