Summary

A Wholesale Account Manager will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following

  • Using inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails to cultivate new business and accounts
  • Navigating a variety of sales channels (Grocery, CBD Shops, Dispensaries, Distributors) to identify decision makers and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Maintaining and expanding a database of prospects for your region
  • Working with local distribution and broker partners to develop new business and coordinate promotions
  • Negotiate and complete sales. Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with stakeholders and accounts
  • Successfully and smoothly transition new customers to Junior Account Managers for ongoing management

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 3-5 years of sales and account management experience, prior sales experience in consumer packaged goods industry preferred
  • Experience with distribution networks preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated and results driven
  • Possess high attention to detail, prioritization, time management and organizational skills with a positive, goal-oriented attitude
  • Problem solver that thrives under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
  • ServSafe Food Handler's Card preferred
  • Willing to submit to a background check, including a motor vehicle report, valid driver license required
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 20%

Benefits

As an exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive salary of $80,000/year plus bonuses, 11 paid holidays, 120 hours of PTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
