The Packaging Lead is responsible for packaging and preparing all products for distribution while ensuring high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform visual quality inspections on products to meet quality standards.
- Manage packaging flow by monitoring product levels at each station.
- Train and coach Packaging Support team members to meet quotas and maintain quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in food production or manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing regulations and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to obtain necessary permits, licenses, and certifications.
- Effective communication and mathematical skills.
