REPORTS TO: Leadership Class 1, 2 & 3 Summer Coordinator
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Summer Camp Administrative Assistant is a seasonal member of the Wyman Leaders program team. They will perform general clerical tasks, such as coordinating various calendars, checking voicemails and texts, sending emails and newsletters and other day-to-day related tasks. This is an in-person day job position at Wyman’s 85-acre campus in Eureka, MO from mid-May to end of June.
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Essential Functions
- Process forms, records, requisitions and sign-up sheets.
- Answer telephone during office hours
- Type letters, lists, forms, etc. as needed
- Maintain office supplies/camp supplies.
- Operate and maintain copy machine and other office machines.
- Coordinate mail services: pick-up, sorting, delivery, and receiving.
- Support communication with teen families, including daily email blasts.
- Assist Camp Coordinators with all associated office tasks.
- Work to keep the office clean and orderly including the Health Lodge, Administrative building, and Dining Hall.
- Develop and implement a check-out system for camp equipment, i.e., electronic equipment, games, tools, and related materials.
