What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Wyman Legal Solutions?
(4-9 Years Construction Law Experience) - Boca Raton, FL
Our law firm is positioned as Florida's Premier Residential Construction Law Firm for Homeowners. We help homeowners before, during, and after their custom home builds and major home renovation projects. We provide advice, guidance, and contract drafting services to homeowners before projects. We provide ongoing advice and guidance as a Renovation Concierge during projects. We provide fixed-fee pre-litigation services to homeowners when their projects go sideways in terms of time, money, and quality of work. We provide litigation services in only a select few instances. This is a niche within the construction law niche that we are currently set to dominate through value-added services and creative billing models. We also represent a select group of contractors with their contracts and collections/lien issues.
The firm is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced, full-time associate attorney to join our team to spearhead these legal services.
The role involves client contact, supervising and directing the work of legal assistants and contract attorneys (when necessary), negotiating on behalf of homeowners with contractors or other lawyers, dealing with various regulatory agencies, and drafting construction contracts. Our clients have very real-life problems that affect their living situations at home and come to us to help resolve their problems swiftly. So, our goal is to resolve their issues promptly and not drag them through time-consuming, costly litigation.
Our office is in East Boca Raton. This position can be filled by a Florida-licensed attorney working in person, remotely, or hybrid. If you live within driving distance of our office, you will be expected to work in-office or hybrid.
When you apply, include a cover letter explaining what attracts you to this position. Submissions without a cover letter will not be considered.
Compensation: $115,000 - $165,000 yearly
