PCA Personal Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary to maintain their independence and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Help with mobility assistance, including transferring clients from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Support medication management by reminding clients to take their medications as prescribed.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams

Qualifications
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be able to pass background checks prior to employment.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
