Essential Job Skills:
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
- Must have bartending experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
- Process payment from customers
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area
- Keep inventory of all items and restock as necessary.
- Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits.
- Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift.
- Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Perform duties in accordance with OSHA, HAZCOM, and Blood Borne Pathogens regulations and other applicable state and local regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective jurisdiction)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Report lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Perform essential job functions in accordance with local health department codes, standards, and regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Must have at least 1 year bartender experience
- Must have at Bartending License
EDUCATION: High school diploma
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to walk, climb or balance stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift/push/pull and move up to 50 pounds.
