Compensation:
$16.00 / hour
Museum Experience Associate Essential Functions:
- Greet museum visitors on arrival with a warm and inviting welcome.
- Provide directions for visitors to purchase tickets at our kiosks.
- Answer general inquiries about museum operations, The Wynwood Walls app, Wi-Fi, special exhibits, and events.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of artists and works within the museum.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to all visitors.
- Contribute to the execution of special activities and programs, including setup and breakdown.
- Manage the operation of specific exhibits, including queuing and crowd control.
- Work collaboratively with the Events team as needed.
- Attend all required meetings and report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including cross-training.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or Hospitality role required; experience in a museum, live entertainment or amusement park a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of clients and guests, and a team player.
- Flexibility in working hours, as some evening and weekend work is required.
- Must be fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
