Head Golf Coach
Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School has an opening for an adjunct, head golf coach. This position reports to the Director of Upper School Athletics and is a paid stipend position.
The chosen candidate is responsible for conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student-athletes in strategies and techniques. As a member of the Athletic Department, the successful candidate should be deeply committed to the entire student-athlete experience. The ideal candidate must have a significant knowledge of and proven success in coaching golf either at a varsity high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities:
- Works with the Athletic Department to schedule events as well as coordinate practices and games with our home golf course
- Oversees the development and progress of each student-athlete
- Communicate regularly and clearly with parents and guardians about team culture, expectations, and schedules
- Collaboratively works with the Director of Athletics and Athletic Department colleagues, Upper School faculty and staff, and the broader school community
- Assists in maintaining team facilities and equipment
- Help with transporting students to and from practices and games
