Reports to: Vice President of Processing
Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse activities including shipping and packaging operations, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance in the sugar warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the SQF Practitioner to ensure all food safety and food quality guidelines are being followed.
Functions & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate loading operations
- Optimization of facility layout and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Communicate all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF System.
- Assist with warehouse capital project management duties
- Improve efficiencies in sugar handling and conveying
- Schedule and plan maintenance activities
- Build and maintain Asset Essentials (CMMS) for the warehouse
- Other duties as required by the business.
- Adhere to all company policies and all safety, food safety, and sanitation rules and programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, higher education preferred
- Supervisory experience in manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of standards for food safety and quality including but not limited to GMP, HACCP and SQF Systems.
- Understand what is required of food manufacturing facilities by FDA including SQF, and GMP guidelines
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and solve reliability issues
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer technology skills.
- Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
