WyoTech is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our team! This hands-on technical role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our Salesforce platform , ensuring it aligns with our growing organizational needs. This position collaborates closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions, tackle complex business challenges, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. This position requires a blend of coding expertise, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking to bridge the gap between technology and business outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using a combination of no-code tools (flows, triggers), as well as code when necessary (CSS, JavaScript, APEX, JASON, SQL, etc.)
  • Build and maintain Lightning web components, Visualforce pages, custom Salesforce functionality, custom integration solutions, and apps for internal use
  • Create and maintain custom business apps and solutions via the Salesforce Platform (including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud communities)
  • Create and maintain integrations with other applications and services
  • Troubleshoot issues, debug, identify, and implement solutions
  • Assist with release cycles to implement and deploy new features and updates to existing applications and code
  • Work with integrated applications such as Form Assembly, DocuSign, Anthology Student, and Marketing Cloud
  • Uphold coding best practices and data integrity, ensuring compliance with security and development standards
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents

Requirements :

Associated Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • Proficient in implementing and developing CSS, JavaScript and HTML
  • Certifications preferred : Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer 1, and JavaScript Developer
  • Experience in using and architecting Salesforce Flows
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications effectively
  • Preferred experience with Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Form Assembly
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security profiles, configuration, and application integration
  • Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to understand, articulate, and document complex requirements
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency with strong analytical, process and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively address stakeholder concerns while maintaining adherence to standards

    • Minimum Requirement (A combination of the following experience and training, or the equivalent of, would be qualifying) :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of combined Salesforce administration and developer experience
