As Assistant Site Superintendent, you will aid in the successful completion of all aspects of ground up projects in cooperation with and under the direction of the Site Superintendent. This is a critical member of our organization, as you will be involved and supportive of all day-to-day disciplinary decisions on-site and will be accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets our high-quality standards.
The successful candidate will uphold the company’s unmatched consistency in delivering quality projects for our clients, and can improve upon the efficiency and effectiveness of future projects.

Job Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Superintendent include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Site Superintendent in the management and inspection of all onsite operations and be able to contribute feedback that might make work safer, cheaper, cleaner, lower impact or any other way improve the operational success of the projects.
- In the absence of the Site Superintendent, oversee on-site operations: managing equipment/materials and directing labor force to achieve optimum performance
- Maintain clear communication with Site Superintendent regarding progress, issues, etc. throughout the day and recommend reasonable adjustments necessary to complete daily goals; document daily construction activities including pictures of site and work in process.
- Make certain job site is cleaned and prepped each day, ensure that all equipment is safe, properly serviced, and ready for operation at all times.
- Unload, identify, distribute and maintain building materials, machinery, or tools to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
- Track the completion of Punch List items at the end of a project to ensure that they are being taken care of in a timely manner.
- Maintaining contact with building tenants to coordinate completion of any warranty work.
- Using all available resources to assist in solving urgent problems that arise in the field during construction.
- Other miscellaneous duties as necessary on the job site to deliver the final product on time.
- Five (5) years of ground-up construction experience required.
- Bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read engineering plans and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability/flexibility to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
- Must work in professional manner and be able to work around other tradesmen.
- Possession of a valid driver's license; OSHA certification is a plus.
- Regular attendance and punctuality at the workplace is required.
