Minimum Requirements :

Enrollment : Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent program.

Academic Standing : 3rd or 4th-year veterinary student in good academic standing.

Availability : Ability to commit to the agreed-upon externship duration (typically 2–6 weeks).

Interest and Skills : Strong interest in small animal veterinary medicine, including general practice, surgery, and diagnostics. Willingness to engage in hands-on clinical practice under supervision.

Professionalism : Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in patient care and client interactions.

Legal Requirements : Ability to provide documentation of university externship requirements, if applicable.

Technical Skills (Preferred) : Basic knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. Familiarity with standard veterinary tools and procedures.
