What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permit Coordinator position at Wyyerd Group LLC?
The OSP Permit Coordinator is a vital part of Wyyerd team. The OSP team is responsible for working with outside engineers, contractors, and municipalities to enable the rapid deployment of plant to enable this expansion, and the OSP Permit Coordinator plays a key role in this process especially with municipalities
Responsibilities
- Follow up with permitting agencies to ensure timely approval of permits.
- Processing and understanding of permitting applications.
- Communicating with district inspectors, construction managers and sub-contractors as needed
- Keeping track of all payment receipts for permits
- Basic ability to use standard office equipment (printer, fax, computer, scanner)
- Other tasks/duties as assigned by corporate and/or local operations.
- Identify, communicate, and track what is needed to obtain permit approvals.
- Manage the overall Permit Tracker, report on status of plan reviews / permit acquisition and relay information back to the project leaders.
- Experience with project coordination of multiple projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with the design team, engineering team, and construction team
- Experience with Google Sheets and Google Drive

Documenting all related items pertaining to permits
Experience/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude, willingness and eagerness to learn new things, team player
- Must have a valid License, pass a background check and maintain a good driving record
- Ability to understand/learn the fiber network construction process
- Working computer knowledge and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent organizational skills, efficient, reliable, and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have clean driving record
