CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a second shift CNC Machinist to join our team. This position requires knowledge on conversational programming, machine operation and maintenance of a Vertical Machining Center as well as how to efficiently execute the machining process. This is a second-shift position with flexible scheduling, paid training, and good benefits.

Second Shift Schedule: Employees will work four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, scheduled between 3:00 PM and 1:00 AM. With manager approval, there may be flexibility in start and end times.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate Haas VF-series VMC for machining of aluminum and copper components.
• Troubleshoot and execute initial machine/part setups.
• Set up tooling and materials to support machining production.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on fabricated parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on all shop equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI.

Desired Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a CNC machinist or technical degree in CNC Machining with a two or more years as a CNC machinist preferred.
• Familiarity with a Haas VF series VMC is a plus.
• Ability to use precise measuring equipment to perform FAIs.
• Computer proficiency and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in an ISO-9001 environment is a plus.
