Key Responsibilities
New Business Strategy Development
Collaborate with senior management to define both short-term and long-term approaches for entering new markets.
Create strategies that sustain growth within current core competencies (fiber, coax, aerial, underground, and FTTH construction).
Identify and prioritize immediate opportunities aligned with the organization’s capabilities.
New Business Development
Expand work with existing clients by identifying opportunities for greater collaboration.
Research and engage potential clients, positioning the organization to secure new business.
Continuously monitor various data sources (websites, customer updates, industry briefings) for fresh leads.
Select and participate in strategic tradeshows, manage vendor exhibits, and build awareness of the organization’s offerings.
Establish and nurture alliances with large primes, forming subcontracting or teaming relationships when beneficial.
Gather and analyze market intelligence to maintain a competitive edge.
Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients that highlight solutions and value propositions.
Proposal Development
Contribute to proposal strategies, including defining the approach, unique selling points, and partnering decisions.
Assist with drafting teaming agreements, identifying work shares, and coordinating with partners and subject matter experts when necessary.
Qualifications (Required)
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
10–15 years of proven success in capturing new business and closing contracts, specifically in fiber, coax, aerial, underground, or FTTH construction.
Demonstrated ability to identify leads, develop capture strategies, and secure contract wins.
Technical & Professional Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Solid understanding of strategic planning, market analysis, and opportunity tracking.
Excellent communication skills—capable of writing clear, cohesive proposals and delivering persuasive presentations.
Strong problem-solving abilities, able to synthesize information into actionable strategies.

Physical Demands : Primarily a sedentary role, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment : Remote-based with visits to various operational sites, which may involve exposure to weather extremes, noise, or airborne particles.
