Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Business Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting sales efforts, providing technical demos, consulting with clients, aiding in customer implementation, and ongoing management. Additionally, this individual will contribute significantly to product innovation, roadmap development, and assist in refining our product marketing strategy to ensure a value-based message with measurable outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, analytics, etc.) or 2-5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Looker (required) and other visualization tools like Tableau, Mode, or Power BI.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in ecommerce analytics platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Experience working with or at Fashion/Apparel, Sporting Goods, Food and Beverage, Consumer Goods, Health and Wellness, or Cosmetics companies is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support and Consulting:
- Partner with clients to understand their unique business needs and translate them into tailored reports and dashboards.
- Provide hands-on consulting to guide clients through BI tool implementations and help them optimize their data workflows.
- Design innovative solutions leveraging data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, and Power BI to empower customer decision-making.
- Continuously collaborate with customers to refine and expand BI deliverables based on their evolving goals.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Assist the sales team by showcasing product capabilities through technical demos and providing expert consulting during the sales process.
- Develop data-driven case studies and customer success stories to highlight measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to refine messaging and ensure alignment with market demands.
Product Innovation and Development:
- Contribute to X Scale’s product roadmap by sharing customer feedback and insights.
- Work closely with the product development team to enhance features and deliver new capabilities that meet customer needs.
Technical Expertise and Data Analysis:
- Leverage SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift, etc.) to extract and transform data for analysis.
- Build scalable and insightful dashboards to track key metrics for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Industry Expertise:
- Conduct in-depth ecommerce/commerce data analytics using platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and more.
- Apply industry knowledge in Fashion/Apparel, Sporting Goods, Food and Beverage, Consumer Goods, Health and Wellness, or Cosmetics to deliver tailored insights.
