Purchasing Agent

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and efficient, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our logistics and inventory control systems. The Purchasing Agent will play a vital role in our organization, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.

Duties:

• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonable prices.
• Meet with vendors or suppliers to discuss and resolve issues such as missed deadlines or unsatisfactory service or product quality.
• Proficient in operating smartsheet and quickbooks
• Ensure adherence to all industry standards and compliance regulations.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure proper shipment and receipt of goods.
• Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,557.00 - $60,314.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
