Summary
As a GIS Technician, you will be integral to the organization’s spatial data management and analysis efforts. Reporting to the GIS Manager, your core skills in GIS and GPS will enable you to conduct thorough data analysis and drafting using tools like ArcGIS. You will leverage premium skills such as AutoCAD and SQL to enhance project outcomes, while your relevant experience in data management and project management will ensure efficient workflows. Strong communication skills will facilitate collaboration with team members and stakeholders, contributing to the success of various projects within the organization.
Responsibility
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in navigation/GIS with below skills
Ability to complete Client Project Training for all map data layers.
Ability to complete Client Tools Training for map data editing, edit tracking and reporting.
General skills in open-source research for map data corroboration.
Ability to conduct targeted research in registered data sources.
Fluency or ability to gain fluency with macOS, Numbers, Pages, Slack, Quip, Mail, Calendar, and Client Maps.
Good communication skills
Microsoft excels
Research issues and edit GIS data per requirements set in the Client ticketing system.
Escalate issues to Project Lead where appropriate.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
