Position Description:The X3 Sports General Manager is the face of X3 Sports to members, guests, and staff and is responsible for the overall quality, operations, and financial success of the assigned X3 Sports facility. This role is crucial in ensuring the gym operates smoothly, exceeds member expectations, and drives revenue growth while managing expenses and ensuring profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, communicating and upholding company standards while delivering the X3 Sports Promise to all members.
- Ensure X3 Sports team members consistently meet and exceed expectations in areas such as punctuality, dress code, friendliness, and cleanliness, maintaining a clean, friendly, and well-kept facility.
- Manage employee training and development, ensuring staff are well-equipped to perform their roles and grow professionally.
- Hold team members accountable for performance and ensure follow-through on responsibilities.
- Achieve individual and club-level goals related to member retention, program metrics, and overall sales performance.
- Collaborate with the club team to plan and implement local marketing initiatives, engage in prospecting, and drive member engagement.
- Assist with workforce planning, including forecasting staffing needs and hiring.
- Oversee the coordination and execution of special events and tournaments, both internally and externally.
- Manage customer relations by addressing conflicts and directing unresolved issues to Member Services for escalation as needed.
- Oversee class scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all programs and activities.
- Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to review performance, offer direction, and provide inspiration toward achieving individual and company goals.
- Address employee relations matters promptly, mediating conflicts as necessary and involving HR in sensitive situations.
- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute targeted initiatives that increase member engagement.
- Ensure members have access to highly trained, professional fitness staff capable of delivering fitness counseling, training, and programs aligned with X3 Sports standards.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as management preferred
- 2-5 years of management experience in a fast paced environment such as fitness, retail or hospitality environment
- Experience managing in a class based environment preferred
- 2-5 years of experience managing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, revenue, and budgets
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to assess the impact of your decisions on the bottom line
- Proficiency in using computers, CRMs, POS, and other studio management software
- Demonstrated leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
