Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Control Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and optimization of control systems for major oil and gas projects. This role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive efficiency improvements across operations while ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, configuration, and commissioning of process control systems for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Develop and implement advanced control strategies to optimize plant operations, including feedstock processing, refining, and pipeline transport.
• Work closely with project managers, process engineers, and operations teams to define control system requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Configure and maintain DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems to support project deliverables and operational improvements.
• Perform process modeling, loop tuning, and troubleshooting to enhance system performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout all project phases.
• Lead control system upgrades, migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives as part of project execution.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers involved in project work.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party control system integration within project scopes.
• Support plant commissioning, start-up, and performance testing to ensure project success.
