Position Description:

The Label Coordinator role is responsible for managing, preparing and printing all finished goods packaging labels while ensuring that packaged material aligns to company, customer and ISO 9001:2015 requirements. This role requires the retention of and attentiveness to information that pertains to specific elements of the Xaerus Label Library. This role supports the overall manufacturing process through label accuracy, inventory of labels, and compliance of labels. Additionally, the Label Coordinator role will have some duties related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process label requests from customer service, production staff, and supervisors, ensuring timely creation to meet product delivery deadlines.
• Monitor label quality and inventory to ensure finished products are properly labeled and shipped on time.
• Manage the purchasing of all labels within the Label Library, for both internal purposes as well as Xaerus labeled and private-branded packaged material.
• Work with the Sales & Marketing team as needed on the development, proofs and printing of labels and all private branded packaging needs.
• Count, investigate and assist in the resolution of label and packaging inventory variances and issues; communicate all variances or quality concerns to personnel with authority.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance by recording lot codes accurately, ensuring label is correctly aligned with requested product, and following all processes to ensure traceability.
• Ensure compliance with all hazard labels, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all policies & procedures related to labeling of finished products.
• Role frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, use hands to handle or feel product or packaging, and reach with hands and arms.
• The position involves needing to occasionally lift to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• This job operates in a manufacturing setting.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or similar discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred 2-3 years experience in record management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
• Numeric literacy, math and problem-solving skills required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; provide leadership when needed.
• Full Time Day shift Monday – Friday. Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; some flexibility required.
• Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers. Specific vision capabilities required; the employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods is required.

Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or related business discipline

Preferred Past Experience:

1-3 years of customer service and or related accounting experience
