Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll operations for 1,000 employees across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payroll payments, benefits, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions with precision.
- Leverage advanced Rippling expertise to optimize payroll processes and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payroll-related challenges and ensure no legal or regulatory issues arise.
- Drive strategic improvements to payroll operations as xAI continues to grow globally.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of functional payroll experience; depth of expertise prioritized over total years.
- Advanced proficiency in Rippling (required).
- Strong knowledge of employment regulations and cross-jurisdictional payroll compliance.
- Payroll certification (e.g., CPP or equivalent) required.
- Proven experience managing payroll for 1,000 employees across regions.
- Previous leadership of payroll at a tech company is highly preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
