Supports Room Attendants by ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and hotel premises are clean and orderly through various tasks.

Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: May through October 2025 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $14.60/hr tips
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

- Assist Room Attendants making sure guest rooms, public areas, and the hotel premises are clean and orderly manner performed by a combination of tasks.
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.
- Strip guest linens and terry from departure rooms. Remove trash and recycling from departed guest rooms. Each house person is responsible for stripping at a minimum 35 rooms before lunch break.
- Properly stock linen closets and housekeeping carts with clean linen and terry and guest room supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping vacuums, closets, storage rooms, and other equipment.
- Make sure Personal Protective Equipment is being followed at all times.
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be detail-oriented to ensure quality expectations and standards are met.
- Ability to do basic math.
- Must be able to work well with others and can speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Must have the ability to support housekeeping team to reach common goals.
- Valid U.S. Driver License and clean driving record preferred.
Physical Requirements include:
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. May need to haul items up and down stairs. Constant lifting and carrying of supplies and linens throughout the day.
- Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day.
- Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 350 pounds as needed.
- Working safely with required chemicals.
