Job Summary:
Housekeeping Inspectors work in partnership with Housekeepers to ensure hotel rooms, cabins, and common areas are cleaned to a high standard daily. Inspectors are trained in Housekeeping/cleaning procedures and can also be tasked with cleaning hotel rooms and cabins.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Start Dates: ASAP
Pay: $14.80 per hour
Housing & Meal Costs: $13.50 per day
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy and care.
- Provide supervision of Housekeepers, ensuring that guest rooms are cleaned properly and in a timely manner by inspecting guest units continuously and thoroughly.
- Communicate with the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor on Housekeepers progress and concerns.
- Report ready rooms promptly.
- Address unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns immediately by turning in maintenance Service Requests.
- Maintain linen and supply rooms cleanliness.
- Assist with other Housekeeping duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Highly detail oriented with great organizational skills
- Time management skills.
- The ability to follow instructions and count accurately.
- Ability to communicate well and offer effective mid-level supervision and employee feedback.
Physical Requirements:
- Capable of stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs up to 8 - 10 hours per shift.
- Able to make beds, strip rooms, clean toilets for up to 8 hours per shift.
- The ability to push or pull 50-75 pounds on a daily basis.
- Able to work with required chemicals up to 8 hours a day.
