Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a terminal degree in the area of the teaching assignment.
- OR, candidates should possess a master’s degree in Business Administration or a primary business discipline such as Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems/Technology, Management, or Marketing with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate coursework in accounting plus a minimum of three years of professional experience in the area related to their teaching assignment.
- OR, individuals with significant experience or expertise in a specific course subject may be considered for faculty positions even if they do not meet the academic degree requirements.
- Effective, engaged learner-centered instruction in an inclusive classroom environment.
- Effective planning and preparation of classes to support student success.
- Administration of appropriate course assessments designed adequately to measure student’s learning.
- Use of Xavier’s campus-wide Content Management System, Canvas, to provide course information and maintain an electronic record of student progress.
