Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Assurance Officer with meeting the monthly requirements of the DHS Quality Control Contact program (QCC). The QCC program requires contact to be made with interviewed persons and asking quality-related questions regarding their interview experience with our investigator. Should an issue arise with the source’s experience, the issue is recorded and forwarded to the Quality Assurance Officer.
- Maintain an organized record of all calls made, all issues tracked, and all deliverable reports assembled, processed and submitted.
- Assist with resolving lower-level issues which result from QCC calls.
- Assist with other deliverables as needed.
- Provide verbal counseling as needed to investigators under the direction of the Quality Assurance Officer in order to resolve issues that arise from the QCC program or other parts of the DHS contract.
- Maintain awareness of deliverable-related timetables and organize themselves accordingly so as to meet monthly deadlines successfully.
Minimum Requirements:
- Six (6) or more years of experience in the personnel security investigations or background investigations industry
- DHS Credentialed Investigator
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong sense of responsibility for deadlines and mission completion.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt to government-approved formats.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional background related to DHS personnel security background investigations.
- Understanding of client-vendor relationships and expectations.
- Experience with retraining and/or counseling individuals.
- Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
